"Under $50 for 5lbs at the quality of this roast is nearly unheard of these days. I drink my coffee black, so the quality of the beans makes a big difference. This is a perfect med-dark roast with very little bitterness and bolder body. We have a tried a few med or med-dark roasts and have settled on this one as our favorite."

"I ordered this in whole bean. I normally grind my own beans and hand drip it. Overall, the acidity is low, and the roast level seems slightly higher than a medium roast. Smoky and dark chocolate. You can taste some sweetness if you use 184°F or 85°C water. It was easy-drinking coffee."

"Dark Nebula by FRC is absolutely stellar. Pulled as espresso, it’s so chocolate-forward that my wife genuinely thought I had made her a mocha — no syrup, just pure coffee magic. Beneath that rich chocolate bomb is a wonderful fresh-roasted nut undertone, beautifully reminiscent of FRC’s Dark Brazil, where the nutty depth blends seamlessly with the chocolate notes. The result? A Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup latte! As always with FRC, it arrived freshly roasted, making every shot vibrant and delicious. Dark Nebula is a must-have for anyone who loves bold, dessert-like espresso done right."

"We bought this coffee during our trial run, looking for a solid replacement for our usual Papua, that was out of stock and it was unclear if FRC would be able to secure more shipments in the future. While we definitely prefer Tiger Nebula in our household, the Dark Nebula turned out to be a very good choice as well! There is no acidity - a very important factor for us - and it has character and balance. I am almost glad Papua was out of stock, it allowed us to try new options that we were hesitant about before."
