"Having been a French press brewer for years I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about the AeroPress, how could a plastic tube ever make better coffee than the tried and true French Press? I read the glowing reviews about AeroPress with a bit of skepticism but decided it was well worth the minimal investment to have even a chance of brewing the ultimate cup of coffee. Getting the AeroPress process down was a snap and it wasn't long before I was relishing the very best cup of coffee that I have ever personally brewed, and that is not hyperbole. Side by side with French Press coffee, each brewed to absolute spec, the difference wasn’t even subtle… the AeroPress coffee was incredible, way smoother with none of the bitterness that I had come to believe was just inherent to coffee no matter how it was brewed. Thank you FRC for being such a great promoter of everything coffee and the art of brewing it correctly, you’ve made a lifelong customer of me."

- How many filters does it carry? What are the dimensions and weight of the whole thing? (Need it for rafting -- weight is important!)
- Good morning! The Aeropress Go is slightly over one pound including the packaging, so assuming you wouldn't need to travel with a cardboard box, it would be under one pound. It also comes with 350 filters in the starter kit. Collapsed to the smallest size, the Aeropress Go has a height of 5 1/4" (13 cm) and a diameter of 4" (10 cm) at its widest point. Hope this helps!
