"Before you order tea from this company it is worth ordering a sampler to get an idea of which tea you like the best. It is more expensive than just buying a pound of loose tea, but you have to pay some extra for educating yourself. It is hard to decide by reading reviews. Anyway, here is my take: All teas are actually good. English Breakfast - just a bland black tea, good, but not specific; Assam - your typical assam - strong robust fresh taste; Irish Breakfast - I liked it the most, it is strong and robust, but there are notes of softness and fullness."

Perfect sampler
"I was looking for loose leaf tea to change up my coffee routine. This was the perfect sampler. All three have a strong, pleasant flavor. It took a couple of times to adjust the amount of tea to the strength I like, but I am excited to make my next purchase! English breakfast is my favorite."
Best black teas
"I've had tea all over the world, including in India and China and Japan. This sampler is great quality tea. I especially like the Assam and the Irish Breakfast. The English Breakfast is a solid starter but has a milder character with less distinct fragrance than the other two teas. If you want a "plain cuppa tea" the English is it. All are very drinkable if you love black tea. I particularly loved the Irish tea. I was impressed by the freshness of the tea in particular; tired of ordering teas online and finding an expiration date past due on my order--not so at Fresh Roasted and the prices are excellent. You won't be disappointed. Oh, did I mention there is a lot of tea in these samplers? Not just a single pot. You'll have plenty to figure out which tea(s) you like best."

"This is some of the best tea I've ever had. It's great to be able to taste the differences between the different kinds of breakfast tea in so much detail. My next purchase will be measured in pounds :) The shipping was also surprisingly fast (out to California); I recommend buying straight from FRC rather than Amazon."
