Epic Tea

"This is my favorite of all the black tea varieties FRC has. Smells great and brews a dark and rich cup. This tea tastes like tea, it’s bold in the best possible way. I really love the smell and taste of this tea, sorta similar to Assam, but more intense and complex. Great quality leaves, with some golden strands here and there. It’s obviously fresh and still has that fresh tea floral note."

Relatively low cost and tastes very good

"First, I very much like that this tea is finely ground. I have compared the taste to Yunnan Dianhong Dragon Pearl Dian Hong Black Chinese Tea that I purchased from a shop in China. They are basically similar tea. The tea I purchased in China is Overall, the Golden Monkey I've rated (I have hundreds of ratings of tea that I've rated) as about 9.2 out of 10, whereas the tea I've bought from China I rate as a 9.8. The latter (China tea) has slightly more flavor, which is more chocolate flavored. The downside is that it takes about 6 weeks for me to get the order for China. Overall, I'd highly recommend the Positively Organic Golden Monkey tea"

"I usually don’t enjoy most black teas unless I add some sugar to help balance out the astringency but this one is amazing! Can drink it without adding anything at all. Add a touch of sugar like dark brown sugar adds even more to it! A favorite that I’ll be ordering more of for sure."
