Wicked Owl - Roasted Coffee

A Vintage Masterpiece Reimagined

Step back into the archives of Fresh Roasted Coffee with Wicked Owl, an exclusive throwback blend that pays homage to our heritage. Crafted for those who appreciate a smooth, low-acidity profile without sacrificing complexity, this limited-run roast is the ultimate comfort in a cup.

By marrying the bright, vibrant characteristics of African beans with the smooth, balanced foundation of Central American coffee, we’ve created a cup that is both complex and incredibly easy to drink.

The Flavor Profile

Wicked Owl delivers a mild body and a clean finish, making it the ideal "all-day" coffee. Each sip reveals a layered sweetness:

  • Primary Notes: Warm, toasted Graham Cracker sweetness.
  • The Signature: A distinct, lingering drizzle of pure maple syrup.
  • The Finish: A bright, crisp wild blackberry flourish that cleanses the palate.

Here’s why we think this one will be a Fan Favorite

This is a sophisticated fusion of high-altitude African beans for vibrance and Central American beans for that rich, chocolatey body. It’s optimized at a Medium Roast to preserve the delicate fruit notes while caramelizing the natural sugars.

Limited Availability: This is a small-batch revival. Once the vault closes, this owl takes flight.

Nice flavor

"Nice smooth finish. I didn't get much marshmellow or graham cracker taste though. If you like a mild coffee give it a try."

— JoEllen M. (4/5)

A Bright, Flavorful Must-Try from FRC!

"My wife and I are longtime coffee drinkers and loyal fans of Fresh Roasted Coffee, so we always jump at the chance to try their new offerings. Wicked Owl did not disappoint! It is an incredibly smooth, light roast packed with fantastic flavor. If you enjoy a bright, clean cup that doesn't sacrifice taste, this one is a must-try. Another excellent addition to the FRC lineup!"

— Derek D. (5/5)

Tried for the first time - will get again

"Normally when I brew FRC coffee of any type the aroma takes over the house in the best way possible, but this one in particular was so outstanding I had neighbors from 2 blocks over climbing through our kitchen windows with mugs in their teeth ready to get some. Ok maybe this didn't actually happen, but you get the point! Fantastic"

— Daniel D. (5/5)

Surprised at how good this coffee is!

"I usually get Correggio; I love medium-dark, strong coffee. But I also love trying new coffee, and when I saw the Wicked Owl it looked interesting. I took it with us on vacation in the mountains, and drank several cups every morning. It was so good and did not disappoint. My daughter also drank it and loved it as well. I just bought another bag and am looking forward to drinking it yet again. I love how Fresh Roasted Coffee always has my favorites, but also offers new blends and roasts to try so I never get bored!"

— Jan M. (5/5)

Happy that it resurfaced!

"Thank you for bringing this out of the archive! This has become #2 on my list after the organic Guatemalan. It has a robust flavor and not acidic which makes this an all around great cup of coffee any time of the day."

— Paul B. (5/5)
